another uber gorgeous wedding… and the newlyweds aren’t bad either;)

Here is Emily’s take on it all…

When you hear of high school sweethearts getting married, you generally think of movies or fairy tales. We began dating in high school and were blessed to have our fairy tale come true on December 29th when we tied the knot. For our wedding, we wanted to do something different, something special that you don’t generally see. It was not a difficult decision for us to have our wedding in the winter. What better time to have it than during the holiday season, our favourite time of year to spend with family and friends. Being a winter wedding, we wanted to keep it classic and elegant.  We went with a black and white colour scheme adding a little shimmer and sparkle here and there to add to the wintery feel.  With snow falling throughout the day it looked magical, not to mention picture perfect!  With that said, the pictures truly were perfect.  Anne did an amazing job capturing every moment, every tiny little detail, every smile, tear and laugh. We will cherish these photos for the rest of our lives and share them with many generations to come.

(we didn’t ask them to say the bit about the photos… but we are totally glad they did!)
